If this is your first time attending, please allow me to extend my heartfelt welcome. We're so glad you're here. My prayer for you, and all of our faithful and supportive JEMS Mount Hermon family who have attended this conference for years, is that each of you will personally encounter God's loving and powerful presence during this week. There are many activities to engage in, but I encourage you to use your time wisely that your eyes and ears would be attuned to what He is doing in, through and around you.
Our theme for the 76th conference comes from Psalm 71:5: “O Lord, You alone are my hope.” In these turbulent and uncertain times, this verse is a powerful reminder that our hope is found not in people, governments, or even ourselves—but in our sovereign, unchanging, and faithful God.
No matter the chaos or confusion in the world around us, God's plans remain firm and unstoppable. As Job 42:2 declares, “No purpose of Yours can be thwarted.”
As we gather this week to learn, worship, and enjoy fellowship in the peace and beauty of this special place, may the Spirit minister to your heart and strengthen your faith. Let’s return home renewed and ready to shine the light of Christ into a world that is desperately seeking hope for the future.
On behalf of the Main Camp Planning Committee, again welcome to Mount Hermon. If we can be of any service to you during the week, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
To God be the glory!
Yours in Christ,
Craig Wakamoto
