In May of 1950, the Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society (JEMS) was born at Mount Hermon. At this conference center, a small group of Japanese-American ministers met and prayed for God’s empowerment and direction. After World War II, they had a dream to rebuild their churches, evangelize their communities, and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in Japan through the sending of missionaries. That dream has been realized over the past 75 years and continues to today. Your gift to JEMS will continue to support our Gospel work in Japan, on college campuses through the ministry of AACF (Asian American Christian Fellowship) and to families and their children at Mount Hermon!
